 I found this beautiful black & white butterfly feeding on a Yellow Star Thistle on a hot dry day beside the road leading to the Dead Sea in Jordan.

I like the detail in the butterfly and the resulting contrast with the Star Thistle, but the backgound is a little distracting. Maybe a softer focus in the background would help. 6

Very nice focus and very pretty subject. I only wish the background were more blurred out and not so distracting... but this is basic editing :) 8.

Great shot and nice composition. If anything, I guess I'd wish for a shallower depth of field so the base of the plant was out of focus to help keep focus on the butterflly and thistle bloom.
