Ok, well I'm going to be critical about this image, 1 It's certainly doesn't represent any form of minimalism whatsoever. Maybe that was your intention? Secondly you have applied an artistic filter which although may add or subtract to the photo, does not do it any justice given it's obvious lack of meeting challenge criteria.
I suspect that this is a religious or philosophical interpretation of the challenge, now, I am not one to judge, but for my money photography is visual and when one participates in a challenge with a title for minimalism, the least you can do is try to present something that meets it. |

Nice image not sure the D P C voters will go for the text but they are lovely words and words that I need to hear so thank you for that |

it looks like you applied filter effects, which is a bif no-no... also the text i am sure is prohibitted... the hands also take up the majority of the space of the photo, which doesn't really fit "minimalism" well... all that aside, this is a good image, and an emotional one |

some interesting use of filters.....but this photo doesn't meet the guidelines for the contest. I like the subject, but it's much too large to fit the contest parameters. |

the low vote is because i find no relationship in the challenge and this photo.
on another note though, this image is so post camera manipulated that it has become digital art and is no longer a photo imho. Go a little easier on the filters next time. |

I didn't feel this image had a central subject that occupied a small portion of the image. |

Highly evocative... and the complete opposite of minimalism: multiple subjects and text (which looks added in post-processing, not allowed). |
