lots of beautiful colours here....and maybe a tad too much to look at .. as it is a gorgeous photo...touch distracting with the blow out in the bottom right corner... |

I really like the colors in the background, but the glaring white under the butterfly is distracting. |

i like the shot BUT it isnt quite minimal IMO.
If you were going for the butterfly as the subject, which im guessing you were from the title, the butterfly should not have been over exposed, which in turn would have made the bottles darker which would have lended to the butterflys interest |

Nice color arrangement and lines. 8 |

The effect of the light thru the bottles is really neat. I think it kind of overwhelms the butterfly though. Maybe if you'd used only one color of bottle it wouldn't have distracted from the butterfly as much. |

Although it is the strong point of the image, the rest of the image is similar enough to it that it doesn't seem that minimal. Nice coloration and lighting, cool setup. |

This is a lovely image but maybe a bit too bright at the bottom right. Beautiful colors and shapes really set a nice backdrop for the butterfly. 8 |

too much over exposure near you subject. I think the bg and subject are fighting each other for attention, and you always want to have a dominating subject in your photo, or it just will not work. |

Colors are distracting in the picture. I'm not sure what the subject is. |

A little too fussy for me |

Hummmmm, without the title, I would not have known what the main object was. "Create an image where your subject is the strong point of the image, but only occupying a very small portion of the image space." I think that seperating the main object via DOF or some other method would have helped this image a great deal in this challenge. |

I have no idea what the background is, but it's very pretty. The butterfly seems defective, missing the bulb on the left antenna, but otherwise makes a nice subject. The bright white light underneath is harsh, though. |
