 Found this one really hard. Used three lights (all different types of bulbs), really need to invest in something a bit more substantial. Used one from above then two from either side. Didnt used any diffuser, tried, but the ring looked too dull, now i think it'll get hammered for the highlights, but I wanted it to sparkle!

Though there would be loads of pics on white or black so i tried to do something different. Unfortunately a lot of bluebells died in the making of this photo...

Minimal editing. Brightness + contrast, then added a violet hue to emphasis the colours of the flowers & the ring.

I have mixed feelings about the clash of all the color and the piece of jewelry. Nice colors and lay out, but in my opinion, the background is a bit too overpowering / busy. (5)

Very vice composition. Good use of DOF. Jewelry is in focus. Ligthing is well controlled. Bumping to 7.

This is a great photo of jewelry, The DOF works for me but the background color may be tough to find a font color that stands out enough to deliver the message.

The ring almost gets lost in the flowers. You need to crop this down so that the ring is truly the center of attention. Also, the focus should be absolutely sharp on the ring. In this image, the focus on the ring is too soft.

Nice fullsize image. Very colorful - almost too much color as it takes away from the jewelry some. Nice DOF where the flowers on the front edge are sharp along with the top of the ring. Overall, good job.

Lovely colors. I would have liked to seen a border and some text. Not that it was req. but I thought it would have added to an "ad" feel. I gave it a 7.

Beautiful use of the pink and blue flowers with this ring. Not a fan of the ring, but that's just me. Nice use of DOF. I question the composition (jewel centered in the middle of a square frame... not sure about that one.). Nice shot!

This is great, the colors work so well with each other. You managed to really get the sparkle from your gemstones without too much highlight. Well done!

I liked it. I would loved it if you could've gotten more detail on the actual gems themself or have lighting making them shine or reflect more. Sometimes tough to do without the right equipment I know. =o
