 An old ring sitting in a pile of amber on a couple sheets of paper. Halogen and natural lighting.

USM, curves, brightness/contrast, crop, and cloned out some specks of dust.

This high key image has caught my eye and Tree of amber is a great title.. I think you may of missed an opportunity to add text to this picture, however I do like the outcome

well done I like it but feel a tighter crop above the broach to take it to a panoramic shape would stregthen it 7

While not really looking like a jewelry advertisement, your composition is nicely laid out in that it was offset slightly, tipped back and not a dead straight static shot which capld have easily been done. The small stones do compliment the shot and the total white out of the background keeps the eyes where they belong. Some of the foreground stones being out of focus in some ways distracts me, but then again, lead my eyes inwards, where they should be going anyway. (6)

V nice image. good focus, colour, detail, contrast etc. maybe subject matter itself is a little quiet on the interest front. slightly too much space on top for me.
