Subtle and very well presented ad..I will give this one of my highest ratings...9...but bet it will not do that well. Pity! Excellent work.

To me this doesn't show jewelry. There is jewelry in the picture but it doesn't "advertise" jewelry IMO.

A good idea, if only you had been showcasing the watch or ring. This could be an ad for "everyday" jewelry

Really nice photo, I'd think you're selling shells or small stones, however. The hand have ton of character.

Quite a uniques take on this challenge.
I will think outside the box on this and assume the shells are going to be used towards jewelry (not unusual)
There seems to be a slight imbalance in the focus/where the sharp portions are vs. where the dof falls off. I would expect to see the hands very clear and the shells in the box out of focus. Exposure good and focal point where it works best. (6)

Interesting photo, but how does this fit as a 'Jewelry Advertisement'? Really, I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I just don't see the connection. Cool photo tho.

This is a nice shot, but perhaps for an advertisement the face of the watch should be more prominent?

The biggest problem with this shot is that the main subject is the shells, and not the jewelry.

If I didn't know the challenge subject, I wouldn't know that the watch and ring were important. The eye is drawn to the shells in the hand. Proof that "The Rule of Thirds" rules!!!
