| The slightly off-centre composition just makes it look as though you wanted to avoid centring the lemon. I prefer composition to have an artistic reason behind it. The colours seem washed out. |

| It looks like the white balance is off a bit. I think a white background and a little more saturation of the color would make this shot really pop. |

| I'm not sure that the background choice was the best here. Also, I think this could use some sharpening. I like the framing of this. |

| I would like to have seen this rotated more so the inside of the fruit was showing. The glare on the side of the grapefruit is a bit distracting and I think rotating the view would help that. I am not sure that the piece on the bottom serves much purpose here - I think I would try it without that added. |

| I am going to say that the lighting is a bit bright. It is washing a little of the detail out of the skin and the flesh of the grapefruit. I would have centered it in the frame/crop, since it is a lone subject |

| Picture seems a bit bland. Colors could be more vivid. Otherwise a good take on the challenge. |

| OK, the interpretation works for me. The lighting and focus are good. Not crazy about the composition, and general impact is moderate for me. |

| Good idea. Wish the angle was more shooting into the guts of the grapefruit, rather than the skin. |
