 I would of liked to crop this image differently but basic editing did not allow this because i would need to remove some blotches further left of this shot also to edit out some other sea bearing vessels. My Nikon D2H is in for repair so this was shot using a D70 the shop has lent to me until mine is repaired.

a bit of USM and some sat/level editing too resized and submitted.

I would have preferred to see the boats a little higher in the frame. The border really stands out from the image; since I feel that borders are usually supposed to unobtrusively complement the image, this may not be a good thing.

This evening shot is lovely, the colors and change of tone from the sky to the ocean. The almost silhouetted ships are very interesting and add a nice balance.

Nice despite the heavy border. The iimage has graphic appeal complimented by the soft gradation of colors. The boats do appear to be going slightly downhill to the right..not terribly off-putting, though.

Hm technically, there's 4 of your primary subject; but I'm giving you an 8 for this wonderful entry, in spite of the the slight horizon tilt. I see tiny white specks too.. you might have to send in your cam for pixel remapping..

Very beautiful shot. Love the tonality and the way the light gradiates from the top to the bottom creating a sort of line that drags your eye down to the final resting place of the boats on the water. If this isn't a ribboner, it should be in the top ten.

This photo has great potentials. Maybe too much of sky there. Could have cropped it narrower.

I like the colors and zigzag layout of the boats. I think a thinner pinkish line in the border would have been more effective. The 3D effect and the width of the pink line distracts from the picture. 5

These soft pastel pinks and purples draw my eye right down to the subject. Very well done and nice composition.

The fog and sky are very dramatic and adds a lot of interest to this composition. Not a fan of the border but it's servicable and overall not distracting. I wish there were less boats, perhaps just the single one out near the horizon. But lovely overall. 8

Good photo, I like it, but I don't like the color in the border. Maybe it would be ok to cut a little bit off the photo at the top.

This picture has a wonderful look and feel to it. I love how the colors become cooler and cooler, with the shillouettes of the boats on the water. Excellently captured.
