Hehehehe, I don't have that lens - so the friendly competition won't extend that far...
Who cares about the challenge shoe horn - how good does the lack of shutter lag feel :)! The 4.7 is pretty clearly explicable by the fact that the only acceptable extreme sport here at dpc is motocross. I tried convincing my 8 year old foster brother to ride his bike off the roof so I could get a nice shot, but for some reason he wasn't down with that.

Well.. 4.7.. could have been worse I guess.
Yah, I shoehorned this in.. but I thought *maybe* the fact that it's really a great action photo would help.. and I think it probably did.. but not a lot.
Like all my ..'s?
I like them.. why, my mother once said..
but I digress.
I lead the category for the 18-55mm kit lens for the *ist Ds now.. muwahahahahha.. (but I think, only because samtrundle hasn't bothered to add lenses to his account yet.) |

Wow, you got lucky with that airplane trail, it really gives the skater a neat effect that makes him look 'higher' ya know... With the planes and stuff
Awesome shot |

Nice action shot, almost looks like he is sitting on the jet stream =). IMO, the guy takes up a large enough portion of the image to not be minimal anymore. Still a very sweet shot! |

Nice action capture, but too much going on for minimalism. Perhaps if you had captured the skater by himself with just the sky behind him? It's a good shot though. |

maybe the subject is too "big" for this challenge, anyway I love the way he is framed by the airplane lines |

You have a dark spot towards the top left. Probably need to clean the sensor or lens. I know you can't clone or paint it out here. Nice action capture. |
