It is possible that this photo is over my head, but I would enjoy it more, and it would move me more, if it was either overexposed in spots or a little out of focus, but not both, as it is now. |

This image seems technically poor (fuzzy focus), but it is intriguing, hence, I keep coming back to look at it. 6 |

Satisfies the theme but I'm sorry that the out of focus nature of the picture is not appealing to me. |

This isn't in focus, which would be better. |

Big focus problem doesn't make me (the viewer)want to look any deeper for meaning. |

Too bad you couldn't submit this for the "Dreams" challenge. It meets that challenge better than it meets "Minimalism." |

were to start, over exposed, no contrast, no real subject as a strong point....... |

OK. This is interesting. Not my cup of tea, but interesting. Don't really feel that it meets the challenge, though. Too much detail in the subject's immediate background that pulls the eye away from the subject. |

Strikingly original image, and a very evocative one. I appreciate all of it, the artistic decisions invoved in the blur, the grain, the blown-out areas. Very high score from me. Good luck! I suspect you'll need it :-) Feel free to PM me and let me know how you're doing, I'm done with voting on this challenge. |

this image is blurry and out of focus. It's hard to judge the composition of this photo because of those drawbacks. But you've done a good job placing the subject so that it is a minimal portion of the photo. |

I can see where you were going with this photo but I dont think it is a good example of minimalism. |

Lacks the simplicity and elegance I associate with minimalism, but nice all the same |

Fuzzy, harsh, blown highlights. This may be deliberate, but the question is almost more, what is in the light? The shadow isn't ghostlike enough to be haunting, and that is the only thing that would have redeemed the other factors. |
