 rush entry. but I find this one interesting. this challenge seemed to lend itself well to some degree of abstraction.

I like the negative space and the shapes in this picture. Not sure I like the out of focus scissor blade, though it does give the image a bit of needed depth. Still it is a bit flatter than I'd like. The "WOW" factor is missing.

Will I be able to get people to move the cursor from the "5" to the "6?" Maybe some of the time. I'll be happy with doing better than my 5.4x average.

lighting: 3-LED flashlight, handheld

editing: much sharpening. slight levels adjustments. 100% desaturation of cyans, 67% desaturation of blues.
