Trained pet snake? Great shot of him, perfect focus |

nice sharp image with a hint of meeting the challenge but it is met. I like that you didn't go with the normal rock beats scissors image most others used. Great detail and colors. |

nice snake super detail and colour but I can hardly see a rock |

Great timing, wish the grass was much more out of focus, as it competes for viewer's attention at the moment. Snake is too horizontally centered in frame for my taste. |

Weak fit to the challenge as the rock is not in focus nor the subject of the photo. Good picture of a snake in grass though =P |

Great capture, this is really well done. Nothing said the r/p/s had to be the subject of the picture, I hope people don't misinterpret that and downgrade you for it, because this is better than a lot of the pics in this challenge. Hm. As I look at it again, maybe you could take a little off the right side to improve the composition, though the clean diagonal through it is nice. |

the snake is beautiful and softness works imho very well here - i would give more than 8 if you got the challenge topic more into focus (or may be i would not because that would spoil the snake :-) |

one thing about this photo is the rock is way out of focus.but the snake is cool. |

Love the snake it's sharp and visable unlike the rock. Think this would of been better if the rock was more visable. |

Great snake and captivating picture! My only concern is that since the rock is the element that makes the photo qualify for this challenge, I wish it played a more prominent role. That said, I still enjoy the photo. Good lighting and cropping. I love the detail on the head. |

I love the picture but it's really stretching the challenge theme, especially with the rock in the soft background. Great picture though, so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and vote you higher than I might otherwise have given it. |

too bad you can't see the rock very well. the snake is impressively clear. |

the theme of this challenge is rock ... ....yet the rock is taken over by the snake and grass, it would have looked better if the forground was blurred, and the rock sharp, but that is only my opinion, good luck |

Great picture, but stone is not the main focus of it ... just a background |

the rock is sort of just in the background and blurry. great photo but maybe for a different challenge. |

I love your snake, but I don't think the photo is very good for this particular challenge. You even NEED the title to make sure we see the blurred (suggested) rock in the background. |
