I love these little guys (and gals, to be politically correct). I have a pair nesting near my patio. You managed to get very close, nice. Not tack sharp, but nice none the less (daylight shot?).

Very nice capture. Was ths from an L lens? Good job on exposure between black and white. Very sharp. Great bokeh too. I can't find anything to improve upon.

Lovely and clear, good light. Missing tail ruins the shot though, and I'm not convinced by the composition/ square crop.

Pin sharp and nice bokeh. I just wish the ends of the tail feathers were not out of frame. Good work.

Great detail, fantastic DOF, beautiful bokeh and lighting. It doesn't get much better than this. It's an 8 for now, and I will be back to review this one for sure. Do let me know which lens you used,.... I want one.

I have been trying desperately to catch one of these in a photo as they visit my feeder hanging outside my window. As soon as I pick up the camera, they make themselves scarce! :-)
