[critique club]

This is a nice picture taken of nice kids in a nice garden doin nice things, but there are a lot of improvements that can be made on this picture.

Composition:
I believe you are a litle bit too close to the subject on the left. I would say that to compose this picture better you should move just about a meter (3 feet) to the right and then you would have a better view of the boys and of what they are actually doing. I like that you are on the same level as they are, you are not watching up to them or looking down at them but the fact is that you are looking straight at them, that makes this picture kinda intresting and leads the looks to the car and the huge reparation going on :P, aahhh allmost forgot, you should have tried to get the whole car in on the picture :)

Lighting:
Since the sun is coming from the back of the boys you should have given them a flash to brighten up their faces, a fill flash would show much more of their faces and it would make this picture a lot better.

Post-Processing:
I believe there is not much post-processing done to this picture, and I think some is needed. Shadows/Highlights, levels and some dodge burn would give this picture a whole other look that would take away the snapshotty feel of it and make it look a lot more pro

Thats about what I have to say about the technical part, but I recomend you continue to catch these moments with these boys, you will get great photos out of it. Playing hide and seek is a very cool way to ambush them with a camera and you can get absolutely faboulus expressions on their faces when they find you :)

Hopefully I helped you some with these comments, and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions :)

(Edit: Fixed some underlining :) )

Kids at play is always interesting to watch, this compostion has a snapshot feeling about it though and a fill in flash would have made it more interesting as we can see a lot of shadows in the faces...
