While out with my boyfriend and his uncle, this picture opportunity arose outside of an antique store. My boyfriend, T. J., and I were looking around inside the store, and P. J. had come outside to get some air; when we emerged, I had to snap a photo - the way P. J. was sitting, with the hat and the antique store entryway and everything, just looked perfect to me. I realize this won't really do well in a free study, but this is my personal favourite for the time period.

I realize there is some distortion from the fisheye lens - I decided to just leave it alone, because I think it looks kind of neat... but I expect to receive criticism and lower scores for it.

Editing: Resized, channel mixer, curves, sharpening, dodging and burning, adjustment layers, spot editing (I think... it's been awhile). I can't remember if I did anything else to it. Border added.

I like this one... the b&w is just great and the sharpness on the photo is just great. This seems like it was taken with a fisheye lens... which intregues me of the candidness of this... but that is just something i am thinking out loud. it won't affect the score... because that is not the thing that makes the shot... Great one.. 7

Nice character shot. The distorted wall bothers me though.

It would have been nicer if the subject was not as dark as his background.
