 This is my wife Henný and our daughter, Monika. She is 5 weeks old, born the 14th of march and our second child. Anyway, this is a homage to my own picture in Faceless where Monika is still in the womb.

Lit with a 420ex on a tripod with an umbrella and a 550ex with a softbox hand held. Flashes triggered with a transmitter and both of them on the right side of the models.

Lovely portrait. The black and white works nicely as does the cath lighting in the eyes. The diagonal composiiojn here also adds a nice viewing experience... excellent work.

The eyes on both of your subjects are great. Unfortunately the expressions conflict: the mother is holding strong eye contact that draws me into the picture while her son seems to be staring at something rather shocking and unappealing. Even so, this is one of my favorite shots so far.

A great portrait. Love how the focus is sharp throught both their faces, and her eyes are really direct.
