I really like the strong bokeh of the background. And I like the fact that the background extends far to the right. I'm finding the blurry white and blue figure to be a little distracting. Somehow, cropping would ruin the way space works in this photo, and that's a big blur to clone out... Still, the subject is very strong, sharply focused and nicely lit. |

The man behind his head is a little distracting. |

Nice capture of the fan/coach. The white shirt of the player pulls your eye away from your subject |

A tighter crop would have elminated the head behind coach which is distracting. |

Good DOF. Blurs out the background nicely. Very nice job with the natural light. |

its an interesting composition but the people on the bottom right take away from its impact. |

a study in concentration. well done. The light spot to the right is not doing anything for the background though. 6 |

Good use of bokeh, but the contrasty blobs in the background do still detract somewhat from the image.

Nice DOF. Clean, smooth processing preserves great detail and sharpness without introducing artifacts. Well done. |

Nice use of a blurred background (although it looks like that player back there has only one leg). The people in the background really give the feeling of a coach as opposed to some random guy. I would have tried to clone the guy out of the left, or cropped a little closer to the coach's head, though. The other guy is distracting. |

Composition feels very unbalanced to me, and while the depth of field is great for pulling the subject off the background it also doesn't leave us enough information about the surroundings to know what's going on. |

Great DOF, but think it could be a bit overdone as you cannot see what he is watching |
