Construction paper, scissors, shiny metal rock-thing sitting in afternoon sunlight coming in a window. Couldn't think of anything creative or humorous for this challenge, so I thought I'd go for technical perfection within the basic editing rules. I didn't catch all the dust specks, but it ain't bad. Handheld. Very little crop too, posted almost as-shot except for below adjustments.
Raw adjustments for saturation and white-balance. Jpeg adjustments for hue/saturation, crop, and save-for-web. |

| Crisp, clean, colorful composition. Very sharp. I like what you did with the paper. This is one of very few compositions that included all three elements that worked. Nice job. |

| Colorful, simple, and meets the challenge well. I might have tried a little different composition. The rock kind of breaks up the flow of the lines and probably would have done better in a different position. |

wow, one of my favorites in the challenge. love the colors, the shape of the scissors and that youve squeezed all three elements of the challenge into the frame.
wonder what it wouldhave looked like with the paper spread to 90 degrees, allowing the black card to "frame the color down the left side and along the bottom??? just a thought, well done 9 :o) |
