Jackrabbits & Cottontails were hopping around all over the desert garden by the Visitor's Center. I followed a few for about an hour to try to get some good shots. I really like the feel of this one. I sharpened the eye and increased the curves on the jackbabbit itself

What huge ears! Very nice rabbit picture. I like the one red weedy thing - it adds just that bit of color to spice up the picture.

ugh - I know spur of the moment catch - and we couldn't eliminate the red twig....what do you do? unfortunately it is a bit distracting. otherwise - good composition.

If he ran fast enough I'm sure he's take off! hes bound to get teased by his mates! really great capture, one of the best animal shots in the challenge. 8

Very nice image. I think it could use a little more contrast.

good catch - too bad about the red branch. That would qualify as a minor distracting element, in my opinion, which could be cloned out.

Subject too similar in colour to background. Animals typically need to look into most of the shot for good composition, here the left of the rabbit is completely superfluous since the subject is looking in the other direction.

well, this is something i don't see everyday! nice capture. i think your image would be stronger though, if you had cropped off the left third; that space isn't doing anything to really strengthen the image. good luck!

Clever cropping to make me look behind to see if there was more to this image.
