 This shot was taken on Grafton Street, a busy shopping street in Dublin with lots of buskers.

One of the best uses of selective de-sat that I have seen - the sepia effect was a really good choice.

The selective desat creates a surreal effect - it's like he's dreaming or something. I am anxious to see the original color version, but I am still giving this high marks. Well done.

Something about this shot really holds me here.
The selecting desaturation & toning works well in this composition. Makes it appear as though the world is revolving around the musician, and somewhat in their own world.

One of the rare instances where I really like selective desaturation. Focus is good, with few distractions despite the conditions of the photo; I even like this in colour, which is something different for me. Nice shot!

Selective desat is scary, but this isn't too extreme and kind of works. Nice job. When I look at this picture, I can hear him playing.

I like the way the people around him appear ghostlike and disinterested and the way the color of the violin sort of pulls them in

this is fantastic. the colours are great - the people match beautifully to the violinist. If only there was no blurry hair on both sides

Wow I really like this... The colored main subject attracts the eye right away, but then it's really a joy to look around at all those candid expressions all around. The violinist looks a bit like a psycho-killer but that's cool.

I like the way you've isolated your subject with the selective saturation. I think I would appreciate a more head on view of your subject.

Fantastic composition and wonderful desaturation and toning. I like the relatively clean processing, though there are some jaggies along the curve of the violin and the edge of the bow as a result of aggressive edge sharpening. Overall a solid and well-deserved 7.
