Clipped a clamp to the pedestal stand clamped a stick with a tack on it. Focused the 4x5 on the tack photographed the focusing glass with my canon.

All rules are meant to be broken, I polled back to show what it is the image is focused on. The over exposed objects were to add interest and brake up the background.

Unlike some of the other viewers, i do know what this is. But like them I am very distracted by some of the burnt ou highlights. i read your profile, so I know you are professional photographer. This means you must have done this on purpose, but my question would be.... why?

Although your subject may be properly lit the washed out highlights in the elements in the periphery seriously detract from the image.

good stuff...my only criticism is that the composition is too busy. i love the fact that you're doing this though...very cool.

what the heck is that? video monitor? There are no tacks in this picture. ;) The blown out white is a little distracting on the left. I like oyur thinking though - unique. 7

I love how creative this is, but feel like an idiot because I can't quite figure it out..interesting but confusing for me. Will give it a good score though as I find it interesting. The only thing that is distracting is the overexposed pole on the left..it draws my eye away.

This is a great image, although I view the challenge as Plural, more than one tack.
