I've already offered you 1 challenge to revist a shot and I'd like to see you do this again (maybe a whole year after the first version?). Another simple yet effective shot and I'd love to see if you can improve on it one year later ;) (reshooting is something I keep meaning to do but never get around to, I think its a good gauge of how/if one is improving over time).

| I like the simplicity of your idea. It might have been even more effective if you'd picked three tacks - I don't know why but the odd number seems to work better - and zooming in and cropping tighter might have made a more powerful statement. |

| you've got a set a brass tacks! Simple composition. Wish the dof was a little larger so all the tacks were in focus. The gold is well done. Sometimes reflective surfaces can ge a pain to photograph. 7 from me! |

| The very slight angle here seems too obvious to be accidental but too subtle to be a compositional element. I'd prefer to see all of the tacks on the same plane or more decisively receding out of the focused portion of the picture. They also feel a bit too close to the bottom edge of the frame. |
