Nice. Can I have some?

Looks like they are falling up, which, I assume, was your purpose. Good use of the motion trails versus the well-focused part.

Well done, and a perfect candidate for a "how did you do that"
05/17/2002 01:54:00 PM
I like the blurred motion
05/17/2002 12:20:00 PM
Quite a neat image, well done.

Nice lighting, shadows and bringing my interest to the subject. Background works well with your shot. Overall Interpretation- The movement manages to add something, meets the challange.

While I have a couple of ideas about it, I'll be interested to see how you did this (assuming you don't really have an hour glass filled with coins). It seems kind of dark -- either add a little bit of light to the shot, or make some adjustments in your image editing program. Cool interpretation of the challenge.

Clever idea and a very nice effect.

I'm pretty lost as to what's going on here... but if it's an hourglass, why are the edges faded?
05/15/2002 09:30:00 PM
Masterpiece
05/15/2002 08:21:00 PM
How did you do this?? Cool picture!

Really cool idea. You get points for originality and execution. How'd you do that? It's really cool.

Great hourglass effect! Maybe a little faster exposure........Photo 9 Creativity 10 Upsidedown 10 total 10 (you really nailed this one!)
05/14/2002 10:52:00 AM
cool effect with the movement falling 'down'
05/14/2002 04:59:00 AM
really cool idea. symmetry feels a little off, it's biased to the left.
05/14/2002 04:18:00 AM
Neat, and kind of freaky. You might have called it "pennies from heaven" though. I wonder how many others suggested that.
05/13/2002 08:07:00 PM
Love it!
would've liked a tad more focus at the top there, not sure if its possible with the actiion, though.
Lighting, and moreso shadows work well!
Great Job!

Very nice. Good subject, good execution.
05/13/2002 03:22:00 AM
Very interesting lighting to create the hourglass effect -- I'm baffled as to how you did it.
05/13/2002 11:19:00 AM
Funny my husband suggested this very shot. Wheeeeeie, glad you did it. Looks much better then what I'd of done.
Good work and + for your creative idea.
