Seems a little oversharpened and needs a lttle more DOF. I might have sharpened and dodged the eye, and then darkened the back of the head.

The big problem I see here is the lighting. It's way too harsh, so what should be a beautiful brown feather texture has become extremely bright and blown out in places. Also a touch more depth to get all the beak in focus would be nice.
The good side is that you got the focus on the eye, right where it should be, and the composition/framing of the shot is excellent. Gotta love those out of focus reflections off the water in the background too.
