Challenge: Extreme Action (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Location: Brady's Run Park, Beaver, PA
Date: Apr 6, 2005
Aperture: F22
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/4 sec
Galleries: Family, Action
Date Uploaded: Apr 7, 2005

Bright sunny day in the park, too bright. This was at F22...could really have used some ND filters, but it turned out better than it looked on the LCD. A bit centered compositionally, so the rotate was done to add some interest/action and I cropped tigher than I normally do. COuld probably be tighter yet...

Curves to darken it a bit, some levels as well. SOme burning on the background to darken it a bit as well. Crop/rotate, resize, and very slight USM.

It would be cooler if you had captured the vomit as well... :)

motin blur on the subject against a static background, that's refreshingly different, and the tilt adds to the effect, nice composition

not enjoyable to look at with the blurry and angle distracting from what "extreme" action you were trying to convey.

I find the tilt of the background/horizon distracting, otherwise a neat idea.

I think the shot would have been better if the backgroung was blured and the child was in focus
