I'll confess to being TOTALLY shocked at the results and harsh voting on this challenge.

In my view accidental letters are whole, discovered and not necessarily a perfect, oh-so-obvious representation of letterform.

Sometimes things aren't immediately obvious and, for me, that's the charm of this challenge, although I saw little charm in it apart from some letters created by cropped man-made forms.

Thanks particularly to those who saw the word (was it really that hard?!) and for the comments.

Very harshly treated, in my opinion.

Great lighting and detail.

do I correctly read "is?"
well put. though I think this might have had a better treatment in b/w.

Okay, please forgive me, but I'm not seeing a "letter" here at all. I've looked at this one several times, backed away from the monitor, and looked at it from different angles. The best I can do is an upside down lower case 'q'. This, however is one of the very best images, quality-wise in the challenge, with great lighting, marvelous detail ( a little loss in the center white area, but that could be my monitor), and an interesting composition, which most of the other images lack. I know there has to be a letter in there somewhere, so giving you that benefit of the doubt, and based on the quality of the photo, I'm giving it my praises. <9>

OK, I've looked for a while.....is it the, rather fat, "b" that I'm supposed to be seeing?

I tried hard but I can't see a word. I can see an i and a b. Nice photo though.
