Hi from CClub:
Ok, I've just read all of your comments given by other critques and there seems to be some confusion as to what subject your picture is. As far as I can see, to me it looks like ice cubes (sorry if I got it wrong).
Your composition is awesome on this particular photo, with the subject being in the middle of the image. The focus is brilliant and the dof is just right. One small flaw though is at the front of your picture the light is quite blown out (white parts). This perhaps is from the lighting (but I'm no expert). I also like how you have used a black background to highlight your subject. The colour is very well done also. Apart from the blown out part at the front, I believe that you did a great job in achieving this macro shot. Well done and keep up the great work. PS: I'm really not sure as to why it scored so low though, I prolly would have given you an 8 for this beauty. |

| Interesting lighting - but seems a bit overdone. The light on the near ...egg... is too much and the lighting on the rest seems too little. Great focus on the near egg, though. |

| I don't see any detail as I would expect in a macro. The light is over exposed and a distraction to the object. I do like the color...is that ice? |

| I don't know what this is, but its pretty cool. Looks like something leftover from 3 mile island though. Great exposure and color. For some stupid reason it reminds me of S'mores. |
