for shadows, i'd prefer more contrast. could also do with a closer crop, imho.

Start digging! There must be a good photo buried there. ;-) Joking joking. Not a bad shot. X's, T's, Y's, O's and a few others are going to be so common in this challenge, many will suffer. Yours is a little unique, although I've seen at least 2 other tree-shadow-X's already.
