Good even light with sharpness and a good texture on the fur. Background is good and complimentary also. Interesting expression also. Good job!

Ha, cute. But not really a portrait shot, more a candid moment. Also the picture lacks any real pop factor, the colors look really flat and dull, unlike the dog I'm sure! An adjustment in levels and/or curves might really help make this shot stand out more. A 4
