I see where you were going with this, something other than the normal portrait. I thought of doing something like this for this challenge, but decided against ir because its so against the norm that it probably wont score well. I did however take some shots focusing on my dogs body parts for my personal album. Its a nice shot, thats the only critique I can offer... |

Nice shot of the paw! Not really a portrait! |

Aw, looks like my Vinnie when he's all stretched out. Normally, in a regular challenge, this would get a 6 to an 8 from me but this was a potrait challenge and since I can't really see his face...............feet are nice but I like the faces better :)
The DOF is excellent, the hair on his foot (the stray one, not the regular hair) is a bit distracting and the angle is off to me, you might have intended it to be that way but it make the floor look like it's tilting and I keep thinking the poor dog is going to slip out of the shot! ;)

This is different but not in a good way. I don't see how the paw is a portrait. |

This is my second go-around =) - Great idea for the challenge! Very minor, but I would have cloned that piece of hair on his paw pad... doesn't effect your score =) I would also have burned in the white area between the paws and your pupr's head... it's really distracting and takes away from your pups' face. Other than that, excellent job!!! I really love it! |

Interesting idea, though I would like to be able to see more of the dog, especially his face. |

A little different focus on the subject, but maybe not interesting enough. |

This is an interesting angle but I don't really think it would be the type of picture you'd carry around in your wallet to show off your pet - which is what this challenge asked of people. |
