 Photographed on a windowsill, which explains the darkness of the left hand side. I used a close-up lens because I haven't got a macro. I set the camera to 400ASA to add some grain. I added some blur and a little colour saturation.

Good color - the little blue gray on the right is a good touch. Soft rose photos are some of my favorites, but this one is a little too soft - it is loosing definition.

I just adore the softness of your image. The lighting technique is awesome and the composition is brilliant. Excellent work and GL in this weeks challenge.

Too hazy for me. I like soft, but this one exceeds that by quite a bit. The photo size is not really helping matters either

beautiful soft, dreamy image. Maybe too cropped? but definitely a matter of taste so not a big criticism. Lighting is very nicely done here, too.

Nice soft focus and pretty pink. I believe more detail is needed for a true macro, but I do love your photo.

I think you've gone too far on the soft-focus thing. Diffusion, whatever it is. Would have been a top shot otherwise.
