i like the idea, but feel that your execution has let you down. the lighting is just a bit too strong, and a lot of the details and textures that could make this a rich image are missing. also, the focus is just a bit too soft. not sure what was in the background, but it is more of a distraction that a complementing element.

I think the focus seems a little soft and the angle would of been better elevated to see inside the flowers..? Just my opinion.
