What a noble fellow. I just found this in your portfolio. I love his overall regal countenance. You captured him quite well. I like the subdued lighting, yet I can still see the detail of his coloring. He'd make a great model for a closer macro as well!!

Oh my, he looks like the real one too, OH, sorry, didn't mean to insult your dog, LOL! Just kidding.

A wonderful shot of the dog but the colors on his face seem a bit washed out and the back ground sky is really fighting for my attention. Maybe a levels or curves adjustment might help with that. Also a tighter crop, leaving out the collar and tags so you can really concentrate on those souful eyes, so dramatic! A 6

the background light seems to overpower his portrait...

I find the branch coming out of the top of his head rather disturbing.

Oh yeah. . . he looks VERY prince-like! He and my Princess Lacey would make a great king and queen :)

What a beautiful animal you have here! I love big dogs. Damn I love all kinds of dogs......
The colors look a bit washed out though. Focus is right on it.

Surroundings and backlight choice work great here. Very nice angle as well.

Its not a bad shot, could use a little more contrast to help bring him out of the scene. But that tree growing out of his head is a real no no.
