| I like this concept a lot. The colors of the flower are great against the black background. I like the basic composition. I really like the use of negative space in a shot, but in this case it kind of seems like just a bit too much. I'm thinking that maybe a little closer in on the flower, making it larger(a little bit, not a lot), might give a much more balanced feel. I think it would be very much worth exploring further. :-) |

| I like it! It shows a single point of beauty in a void. I like the shadow of light, (anti-shadow)? coming from upper right to highlight the flower. Very well done! |

| Simple, stunning and sublime. This is a very well executed portrayal of this challenge. At first glance, it warrants an 8... and I will revisit this prior to my final tabulation. Very well done indeed. |

| I think your connection to the challenge is stretching it a bit, but that's OK, because you've created a truly beautiful image here. The flat black background is spoiled just a bit by some stray illumination, but it barely detracts from your beautifully simple composition. Nice job!! |
