| This is one of those rare instances ... where it is much more than just a photo ... as others have said: look at this as you listen to some acoustical music; .. remember your first time of trying to get the chords right ... or remember trying to help someone else to get the chords right .... 'tis this kind of shot .. that goes far beyond just being great photography, but captures a far deeper and broader spectrum of life ... makes the shot rise above others .... Thanks for sharing! |

Just a note:
View this image and have some acoustic guitar music playing in the background.
As I was listening to Acoustic Alchemy last night, I happened to look at this shot again and the image had such a different feel to it. |

This is a great shot. I hate to see that it didn't score much higher, even though it did win first place. I think the challenge topic itself probably held the score down in this challenge overall. In a 'free study' I bet this photo would have scored much higher.

| This is so wonderful to see at the top of pack. It's further evidence that the whole idea that only "sellout" images and stock-looking photos do well here. This shot is as artistic and beautiful as any I've seen and I commend the voting public for recognizing it as such. |

| Interesting interperataion of challenge. In the Beginning of Learning to play Guitar. Cool. I like this photo. Normally in this kind of shot they would show both the student and teacher, but this is enough. You immediatly get the feeling of old master with young student. Lighting is pretty good. Just a bit dark in places. Nice job! |
