Challenge: In the Beginning... (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S7000
Location: Kamloops, B.C.
Date: Mar 29, 2005
Aperture: f8
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/100 sec

A different take on the challenge that is sure to be filled to the brim with religiously themed photos. Hopefully different enough to stand out, yet not enough to get absolutely slayed in voting... which seems to be my current trend.

Well, I gave it a "10"and was surprised to find it down this far... one of the most creative shots of this challenge!

hehehehe, well you got me giggling. Shame I didn't see this in the challenge - the gap between commenters and non commenters would have been bigger :)

I just checked ...my biggest difference is between 6.712 all users and 8.303 commenters... :)!

Probably one of the highest difference between commenters avg. score and the imaginationless.. err.. I mean.. non-commenters avg. score I've ever had.

Wow. 6.6 to 5.3 That's pretty incredible.

Yes, the hands were a bit blown out. I worked for *DAYS* trying to get better lighting, but one has to work with what one has.. and getting it to look this good was a miracle in itself.

Props to jmsetzler for giving me advice and helping me not throw my camera against a wall while working out the lighting issues with this.

Thank you to most(everyone except lindaruthe... for her.. just a, *HUH?!* lol) of the commenters.. It's always nice to know that out-of-the-box (and, simultaneously inside the box in this instance), can still be appreciated.

This shot is really a milestone for me, as it's the first time I have ever been confronted by a *real* challenge, and come through on it instead of simply giving up and going another direction. Yay me.

I appreciate your whimsy in this shot. Especially with all the biblical interpretations of the challenge.

dumb...I have spent a full hour commenting on photos and I am getting tired. This type of photo is really irritating. why do people bother. I am going to quit making comments now and quit voting. I can't take it.

Assuming the pun was intentional, I got a great laugh from this! A great shot, and certainly 'on the mark' for this challenge! Thanks!

Nice idea! Original. Good exposure, though lacking in colour onthe hands on my monitor. More even lettering on the box would have helped me score higher.

i love it!!! a very nice break from the landscapes and sunrises. only complaint is that some parts of the figers seem slightly overexposed but i am nit-pickin.....8 likely bump later
