 The picture was actually taken in my room. I put a little figure of the eifel tower in front of my tft screen and played with it a bit.

ISO50, shutter 1.6s, f/7.1, focal length 11.3mm.

contrast adjustment, frame, crop.

I loooove this picture - but would it be a little better if you positioned yourself so that the moon was farther to the right? Hmm.

wow this photo really caught my eye! I love the blue background its gorgeous and then the shadow of the tower and then moon really seperates it out. Nice shot

This is nice to look at but I'm a bit surprised by seeing this moon and this blue sky...I'm thinking of too much post processing.Anyway I give you a seven and wish you luck.Good work.

Oh man, who cares about the challenge..what a beautiful shot. No wonder you had to validate-that is way too cool. Excellent colours, contrast, clarity and composition.

This is a nice image. I love the rich blue in the sky and how you placed the moon in your image. I also live how dark and black the tower is itself.

Nice photo. I like the contrast of the tower against the sky. I think focus is just a bit soft and would have liked to see top of tower in photo.

cool capture. Really tenuous link to the challenge, unless you are suggesting rocket & moon relationship. i will assume that is the case (though still not the strongest of links) and mark strongly.

I like this picture, but I can't see any clear connection between the image and the challenge. Is the journey in question the moon's nightly fly-by of the planet?

Whoa, you must of used a pretty long lens to get the moon so big compared to the tower. Very nice photo. Very nice. Although the photo doesn't fit this challenge very well in my thoughts. I guess your idea is the beginning stages of the moon's progress across the sky. But it doesn't have strong corelation to the title of the challenge. That's just my thoughts. Very nice though, urgh, i hate to rate down a photo this good.

beautiful shot...wonderful colors! The only complaint I would have is that I wish the top of the tower were not cropped quite so tightly. 8

This is a really pretty picture! I love the blue tone and the great capture of the moon. The border is perfect and really adds to it. One of my favorites so far. I'm not quite so sure about the "in the beginning" connection, but I'm not one that gets overly picky because I don't see the challenge connection. It's a great photo.
