 This is nearly out of the camera, which I am really striving for lately. Slight crop, a few flecks and blemishes removed, 5% sat boost, resized, USM.

I didn't even plan on going here today; we stumbled upon this cemetery driving around looking for a place to eat and were drawn to its history, beauty and peace. I saw headstones dating back to the 1700's; very rare for California. I intend on going back here many times.

beautiful composition and the clarity is so good I feel like im there. Listen? wow...I should bring a tape recorder with me next time I go to a cemetary. I love this, the crispness of it, good title...and im so so happy to see you back in the action Kylie...good going!

 Comments Made During the Challenge

Beautifully rendered, but with a hint of srtefacts along the tree branches, presumably from slightly obverdone USM or perhaps a selection ambiguity. The POV, from very low, is quite good, and the raking light is perfect for texture and detail; but, ultimately, the picture doesn't have much emotional weight for me, so it doesn't make my top tier here. Still a strong entry.
