I had this very same idea but couldn't figure out how to do it or set it up. YOu did a fine job. I like how both of them look alike. Very precious shot and worth hanging and treasuring. |

Wonderful capture. I think the empty space is a bit too much though. It is not enough to be effective negative space, but too much to be a "margin" of sorts, especially since the right is cropped much tighter. I really like this in black and white! |

I like how you posed your models here. It's much more interesting that having both models face and look into the camera. Lighting is good. I also like how you paid attention to little details like what the models are wearing. The jacket and tie on the elder model makes a striking contrast to the t-shirt on the young child, enforcing on us the generational differences. Only thing I'd like to see changed is to be able to see the left eye of the elder model unobscurred. |

Nice work. Just a comment if the boy is composed to bit left or crop out the space on the left. |

I see the man as being in the present and the boy is in the past. Thus the difference in lighting, the boy is somewhat in shadow but looking forward and the man is looking toward the void, just my interpretation. I love it! |

Wondering who took this - similar lighting to another familiar shot from this site...can't recall the name! Anyways, great pic - I was thinking of my mom, my sister and my niece as a generations shot, but I wanted 1 or 2 more 'generations.' Great execution - I love the empty space. |

Good light to emphasise the old skin, contrast with the young boy. Good composition, the empty space adds to the picture. It is different and I like it. |

classical, the light on the man is brilliant, might be better with more light on the boy, I give it a 9, surely a top 10 photo |

Composition seems unbalanced, boy's face needs more dimension. Excellent dimension in man's face. Why is the man looking down or have his eyes shut when the boy is looking at th camera? It gives each subject a different relationship to the viewer. Is the man reading him a book? is he asleep? These are the questions that run through my mind. |
