Needs more light on the left side of the face. Highlighting one side is fine but it's almost impossible to see the other side here. Having one side be dark might work with a different composition, but I think a straight on face shoot cropped this way demands that the entire face be visible. |

I think it may be a little too dark -- especially around his eye on our right. I don't mind the left side being much darker, but the right side needs to be brighter to bring out some detail. Hope this is helpful :) |

Good effort. The fact that half the birds face is in shadow makes this picture hard to interpret. Try treating your subject as if it were a portrait and use a two thirds view from one side or the other. That will show more detail of the bird and a lot more interest to your viewer. |

Nice image, but I wish the left side were a little bit lighter. Just my opinion though. |

Love look of the eagle but I would enjoy a more natural background. Still great job. |

Nearly ideal - though i could wish for more detail brought out of the shadow side of his(?) face. Photographically, as presented, I also think you could privilege him in fame more strongly - it looks like the body angle would sit well in a composition that moved him to the right solidly - and would give the buyers somewhere for their text, also. |

Love the harsh lighting on this shot and the straight on focus...it is very unnerving looking at an eagle like this..great composition! |

Great subject!
Needs just a little more contrast. I think you could still maintain that 'dramatic' look. |

Bald Eagle photos are one of my favorite type of pictures. This is a great front head shot. In my opinion a little dodging on the left side would have made this perfect. |
