| Now that I look at it, I think this is the stupidest title I could ever come up with for this photo. Oh sure, I thought it was funny when I submitted it... The red wine was too good that night. The photo is not that good either. I had to crop it way too much to get it and overuse the unsharp mask tool. I captured this photo during a shoot. The model's expression is real. She saw something that scared her to death and I happened to take the shot. |

| She seems to be looking straight ahead. What is she looking at? It leaves one guessing, though I'm sure I know what you intended. She does a good job of having that "startled" look on her face, there's definitely emotion there. The lighting and composition on this photo seem good to me. One small problem with the focus on the right side (mostly evident in her right eye.) Also, though this doesn't relate to the photographic technique, this girl doesn't need so much makeup, her natural beauty would be just fine. |
