I thought it was first to win a blue...
BLUE? I only have ONE in my entire stint here in DPChallenge. I don't have any ribbon yet this 2005 and not one of my entries ever touched a 7+ yet. But there's nothing wrong with shooting for the star. I'm in it!

Well I'll take it...it's likely the only time I'd ever be lucky enough to beat you at much of anything related to photography :)
and so you know, Manny - my score was at 7.02 about 6 hours before the challenge ended. soooooo close :) and my Best Friends entry doesn't have a hope...
Thanks all for the comments. Busy loading the rest of my Thailand pix to my portfolio at the moment. There are even a few of the Infamous Librodo in there :D |

creative and interesting - one of my favorites this challenge (only suggestion is to darken the right side a bit as it detracts my eye from your main subject) |

Nice tones in the image, and good bokeh. I'd like a 3:2 crop though, where there's a little background on the left of her face too. But there's really good detail and a good interpretation of the challenge. |

This is the interpretation I idly thought about trying to convey but I couldn't think of a suitable model and I know I'd not have created as compelling an image as you have here. Even without eye contact you've created a connection, a sympathetic reaction, a curiousity about the subject and her life experiences. Nicely composed too. |

A classic. Both the picture and the model. She has an expression of charming resignation. Shy and coy yet the wisdom in her face is very evident. I like the fact that she's not looking at you as she seemed detached from the world and makes her float astral...background enhances the focus in her face.

I love this picture, but I wish it wasn't so grainy: the edges are kind of jaggy, for instance look at her earring. But other than that, it's stupendous! Looks very librodo. |

Fantastic portrait and good idea to have age lines as a theme. Only wrinkle for me is that I feel a connection with the person, the colorful neck and earings, the expression, the lovely silver earlobe ovals and very little attraction toward the facial lines. Thanks for sharing. My favorite 5 |

wonderful interpretation, fantastic tones, great DOF. i only wish that the detail was a bit sharper (perhaps camera shake?). i haven't seen all the entries yet, but i sincerely think it would have been a top 10 with the good ol' tripod. 7 as is. |

Incredibly nice prtrait. One of the two best "age lines" images IMO. There's a little too much too-bright on the right for my tastes, but the subject is SO rich... |
