 An acoustic guitar picture taken with late afternoon sun shining through the blinds. Nice stong shadows of the blinds, and the strings. I love the deep colors, especially the red on the left which is natural. There will probably be a lot of guitar shots, but I thought this one was an especially strong representation of the theme. Past the obvious lines (strings, shadows) there's the circle design, the grain of the wood, the edges.....I just really like this one. A little contrast, USM and crop.

Hi Mark. I wanted to comment on this. You have a great composition here that fit the them of lines real well. I like your lighting. Light is what makes photography special. I think your lines here are evident. The whole frame is in good focus. I even like the texture of the wood shown here. Good work

NOt sure if would like a wider crop or narrower. I think wider with a bit more of the black background. 8

I think it would be better without the big shadows, and just the shadows of the strings under hard light.

good idea but the composition seems off and a bit skewed. would have been great to have your lines moved more to the left

The light is nice but the DOF is making this shot a bit weak. If it had the same amount of sharpness in the shot I would have liked it better. Nothing wrong with shallow DOF, but I don't think it suits subject and angle used.
