 This photo is of a set of brightly colored stacking/nesting boxes. I have two different versions and at the last minute decided to submit this one. I just liked this one the best, although, the other has more lines. After the challenge I'll put it in my portfolio.

I placed the boxes on the floor with my camera on a tripod directly over it. I used my wide angle lens at 16 mm and f/22. After clicking the shutter (set at 8 sec.) I slowly lifted and rotated the boxes then set them back down.

I made a few adjustments in RAW, then in photoshop - cropped, cloned out a few small imperfectioins, and added the border.

I'm afraid that since this appears to be more art than photo (even though very little post-processing was done) it will be marked down.

This is a very nice abstract. I really like the blurred focus. Interesting idea moving the subject during the exposure. Congratulations for thinking outside the box with your boxes. :)

I thought the theme of the challenge was lines, not squares, not boxes, but lines...eh, never mind, great picture (10)

OK...how did you do this? Surely our Nikon 3100 doesn't have the houfsba to create such special effects. Was it done on camera or on computer? Curious. Good luck 6
