Was going for individuals' feeling of isolation from those around them, who have turned their backs. Pretty deep for just a random snapshot, but it's what I felt before I snapped. Would have liked to call it "Isolation", but I'm hoping beating voters over the head will help dam the DNMC flood of low votes I will undoubtedly receive anyway. I know, I know, no non-symbolic lines in the subject. Except the doorway in between him and his caretaker. Possibly consider the other unseen lines drawn between this man and his caretaker, his family, society? Possibly too much to ask. Would have been nicer to have him sitting toward the outside to strengthen my idea, but what can you do. Way overprocessed for purists, but I went with the noise and unnatural curve levels to bring out shadows and highlights in an attempt to create more mood. Looks like I may never break 5 again. Oh well.

I've been looking through some of your images. And I enjoy them. I appreciate the deeper, more conceptual meaning behind some of your images I've looked at. And I think this image is worthy of much more than what it scored. well done on this and others.

grain is not a problem in my eyes. But in this picture it does not add anything. But on its own the picture has some power. I actually would have liked to see the man closer up, maybe with the windowed lines behind him.
