I simply do no understand DPc voters. There is like puritanical streak as if the days of Dr. jones are over. I have seen good model images here get voted down as if model shots are not allowed. Well, this image should have placed in the top 20.
Consider: the challenge is lines. In this case the voters overlook the hard lines and the soft lines. To me, the loveliest lines are those of the human form. Look at the lines of that cheek line.

I do not understand how this scored so modestly - at least there were 8 others who saw the excellent "art" in this!
My compliments!

A simpler background would have suited me better, but the subject is very well lighted to impart a low key sensual feeling. Bumping up. |

Cute model. Too bad her face isn't sharp, however the concept of Lines is the most important thing. I don't see lines as the main thing in the image though.
Hey, try using her for another challenge later, I think she might look good on photos. |

This has a great vibe to it. Like the lighting, the funky 70s wallpaper and her hair - not to mention the nicely packed vest top!
; )
Colours are excellent and it's just got a neat feel that I like muchly. I have to admit that I really don't like the title though. |

This strikes me as a professional shot, but it doesn't feel like "Lines" to me, even though I understand that mesh is a network of lines. Sorry. 6 |

A great image, beautifully done. The suggestion of movement is very clever. The background may be a little busy but the lighting drags one's eyes back to the main subject. The muted complementary colours in the subject and background are a nice touch. |

Love the lighting and the soft look here, which you have managed to do beautifully without that usual "out of focus" feeling. |
