 Used a lighter to light the right side of the subject and flashed an overhead projector to get the text, moved the subject and placed in the other subject in the dark, and used the lighter again to expose the right side of the face.

Desaturated and cropped the image. Then used variations to add the brown tint, and played with the brightness and contrast.

Found the Freud quote while I was looking for ideas for this submission and I instantly came up with doing a transition from my younger sister to my grandma with the text running accross the face.

Shot this several times trying to get the facial features to match when I realized that one model's face was larger and so I could not get a perfect match. Then I took this shot on accident and it came out with this bizzarre appearance that kind of looked like a Piccasso painting. I liked it so I decided to use this one rather than ones where the noses are slightly off.

Scary, but sometimes surreal is I guess. What is the quote on her face? Seems like a very cool idea

It is a pity, with basic rule it is very dofficult to get a proper result for this idea

Very interesting but the effect could have been presented so as to cut down on the noise. The composition is pleasing. 6

Very original idea and decent execution. I guess I'd have liked the left side more still, but doesn't hurt. As a thumbnail it resembled to a single person but this larger works even better.

Way to drop names... I really like it. the fact that it doesn't line up perfectly really adds to it's appeal.
