Adding this to my favorites because anyone who has the pursuasive power to duct-tape a friend upside down from a staircase, simply to take a picture - now THAT's a photographer. Keep going, keep shooting, keep taping people to things!

hey Wes: congratulations on your top 20 finish with this topsy turvy entry that caught my attention at once. Great sense of humor and good delivery. |

well, here's the original... it kinda gives away how we did it, that is my landlord and friend nathan on top and my friend (who is niether a dummy nor a girl) eric on the bottom. It was cropped so tightly to hide the windows and doors.

It would be better if the girl underneith is facing in the opposite direction, but very creative. Did the girl just tuck her feet around the stair, and hang? Nicely Done. |

This is so interesting. I'm very curious to find out how you achieved this "surreal" look. Good stuff!! 10 |

To the person in the orange: If this was your idea, kudos. If this was someone else's idea, you deserve a free dinner. Nice shot. |

Excellent setup. Is he hanging with his feet between the steps? The idea would have been stronger if the orange guy had been walking to the left, downstairs, uh, upstairs, well... you know what I mean. This is confusing. 9. |

Very cool! I love the effect! Unfortunatly, on a technical point of view, this photo is not very interesting. Colours are rather dull. It could've used some more sharpness and some better contrast. Perharps some black and white with Frame could punch this shot some! I'd love to know how you managed this trick! 6 |

Heh- nice job. I wish the guy in the orange jacket had been facing the other way to complete this Escher-esque scene. |

Really excellent idea. Good execution. Maybe cropped too narrow. Also, a better background would have been better. Would worth a 10 but I can't give more than 8 because of the above. What the heck, it's a 9. Good work. |

Great concept, but I would have done a different light source and turned the guy on the bottom to face the other way. |

that's awesome, I feel bad for your friend who you left hanging :) 9 for the effort this took and the great composition. If I had thought of this, it would have been cool to have each person dressed the opposite of each other, like the guy on top black while the guy on the bottom was all white. I still love the shot, good luck. |

You can do much to continue to improve the incongruity implied here. The dummy under the stairs lacks the stepping of the person above the stairs. The person above the stairs has a visible face. The lighting is very poor for the dummy. A 5. |
