I don't know what it is about this shot that would make people think it's mine. I mean, seriously, would I hold something in my hand at the bottom right of the frame so that it looks like part of an interesting background? Sheesh!
Congrats on 5th. Wish I'd thought of it. ;-) |

Well.. Thank you all. A 5th place in my first dpchallenge is a good thing I suppose :)
All comments about DOF are correct. The setup could have been done much better (and maybe achieve a better place) but my time was limited then.
Congrats to the winners!
Here is a surreal Cloudmaker ad that I made afterwards and I like a lot.

| Lol. A larger DOF would have been good, it sems the lighting conditions would have allowed a smaller aperture. Sharp clouds would have made the illusion perfect. 7. |

| Looks like something I might have done- LOL. With a little more DOF on those clouds, I'd expect a ribbon. With that much blur, though, I think you might have mist it. 8 |

| I like this picture because i like the way the sky is directly behind the hand with the spray can. And the hand with the spray can is so close. The idea of the image is very good for surrealism. Very ncreative idea! |

| My first thought on seeing this - 'I wish I'd thought of that,' this shot has scalvert written all over it - and in the likely even that you are not, in fact, said individual, just take that as a huge compliment to the creativity you've exhibited here. |
