Looks like a painting after William Turner.
05/18/2002 04:37:00 PM
Ooops. Some grey sneaked in this black shot.
05/17/2002 06:34:00 AM
Did you try to shoot something other then this? Anything?
05/15/2002 06:49:00 PM
beautiful lighting, interesting composition. i wish i could give it a higher vote because i like it, but i don't think it captures the nature of the challenge.

Even if my monitor was calibrated to the n'th degree I am sure I still would be able to make out this shot. Its just too dark grainy. It looks like clouds but not sure if they're off a reflective surface.

A little Dark, but pretty
05/14/2002 09:01:00 PM
I think those are clouds, but I cant tell enough of whats there to give a real vote.
05/14/2002 01:14:00 PM
maybe I missed it, but I don't get the photo. is it of a painting?
05/14/2002 09:57:00 AM
Very dark (both photo and concept) I like it, but don't feel I can score it very highly. Photo 6 Creativity 7 Upsidedown 5 total 6

Just a teensy weensy bit to dark...
05/14/2002 06:59:00 AM
Have to tell you this image looks MUCH better against a grey background.
Scores high in emotion, lil low in technique. Though this would be a tough shot to get crisp by all measures!
05/14/2002 06:43:00 AM
Too dark.
05/13/2002 05:24:00 PM
OK, I'm lame. I see what I'd guess to be clouds, but to be honest, I can't be certain. I guess I'll look at it as an interesting abstract. It has a very painterly feeling to it, but not so much a photographic one. I don't have any suggestions because I simply don't know for sure what you were going for.
05/13/2002 04:12:00 PM
Grainy and too dark. I think this could've worked out well with more light and less grain.
05/13/2002 04:12:00 PM
Too dark
05/13/2002 03:41:00 PM
Way too dark...I can barely make out the image.
05/13/2002 02:05:00 PM
our word?
05/13/2002 01:17:00 PM
not clear
05/13/2002 01:08:00 PM
geez, what a velvety oilpainting of a sky! must have been underexposed to get that much noise. still this is a class shot!
05/13/2002 08:25:00 AM
Too dark for me. I must be missing something
05/13/2002 07:04:00 AM
I have seen to much of this in person.
05/13/2002 06:14:00 AM
A little too dark and too abstract to meet the challenge.
05/13/2002 05:24:00 AM
I'm assuming a typo in the title.. I think I am looking at dark storm clouds in this photo but I'm not absolutely sure of that because there is no frame of reference for them. I'm not excited about this particular photo and I'm also not really sure if it meets the challenge or not since I'm not sure what I am looking at. I can't offer suggestions for improvement on this photo but I can suggest that you make sure that the viewer knows what they are looking at.
05/13/2002 05:19:00 AM
Too dark to tell what this is.
05/13/2002 04:26:00 AM
What the hell is this supposed to be, seriously. come on.
05/13/2002 03:40:00 AM
This is too dark to make out enough details to know what this even is.
05/13/2002 11:15:00 AM
Your title>It does feel that way a lot these days.
05/12/2002 09:10:00 PM
Too dark to see what's going on :(
